WALTON Hall Golf Club is hosts its annual three-day Festival of Golf next month, when men and women golfers have the chance to test their skills from the competition tees over the challenging course.
Club secretary John Diprose said: “The course has benefited from the time and money invested by Warrington Borough Council under the expert guidance of our head greenkeeper Steve Heywood and club professional Paul Hodgson and their teams.”
Captains and secretaries from a dozen other Association of South Lancashire Municipal Golf Clubs members are set to play alongside Walton Hall members.
The Team Classic, on August 2, raises the curtain on the Festival and is open to four-man teams.
The Warrington Open follows two days later.
