Back to normal. Any heavy rain within 24 hours of KO and we've had it.

Just been over RP the pitch looks ok, but the strange thing is that the rugby posts are still up. Don't know what to make of it seems the ref made a premature decision, can't see any water lying on the north end, which is the suspect end. Mmmmm very strange.

I travelled all the way from Wrexham for this and found it very strange that the rugby posts were up.
The ticket office was closed, there was no-one from the club to help with advice for refunds or to explain why there was no game. Very, very amateurish. Box office not open until Monday at 9 apparently.
But what a good job they spent all that money on the pitch in the summer.
I am angry, but I'll still support he County and not this shower up here.

I can only apologise for our lack of staff after you travelled so far, I to was over there and it is true what you say, nobody around to ask any questions, or give any information out.
I met a few Wimbledon supporters whilst I was there and they had no idea that the game was off, we definitely need to sort this out because it does not look very professional when away supporters are at the pitch area before they find out the game is off.

If you leave the rugby posts up and don't mark out a football pitch you are saying to the ref that you don't care or even want him to call the match off. The pitch should have been prepared for football and then inspected.

I agree with the above we should expect better than this. But as its xmas lets look a little on the bright side. Santa brought us some good results today so if we win our game in hand its onward and upward. Maybe 3rd place is beckoning.By the way who's the idiot who wanted a new website. That's the one I can't get on to so that I can unsubscribe from that awful mess. Happy xmas to all County supporters.

You can get commentary, try this, download Tune In Radio, then download Newport City Radio, works ok as long as Tim does not get cut off with his phone lol

amateurish newport city radio black outs, disorganised calling off of games, a jerky 1980's style website.

hate to critize but the county board seem to be focusing on money spinning ideas instead of focusing on the people who make it all happen the humble gate paying supporters.

from reading the comments above and if i was a WIMBLEDON supporter id be disgusted that id travelled all the way from london to find the game cancelled on arrival.

wasnt there any thoughts to doing the inspection last night? as for nobody being around to explain the decision that is like slapping the poor wimbledon and county faithful with a wet haddock in the face. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

the website has gone crap, whereas before it was slick, stylish and responsive, now its jerkyy , causes my computer to crash and finding the weekly lotto results is a no go area.

on the positive side its another few days for the walking wounded to recover but their needs to be an enquiry into the manner of the postponement, a rethink on the website (get the previous guy a box of milk tray and hope he gives up his free time again to recover a good site) , hope santa through MID GLAM PACKAGING gives a bit more sponsorship money to sort out amaterish crashing all the time , telephone links???? this is the digital age ot wireless SORT IT OUT!

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FELLOW COUNTY SUPPORTERS!

Why is this happening yet again?
It is no good going for promotion if they can't cope with the basics. Is it any wonder that we don't get a decent crowd. Come on the management pull your fingers out! We do not want a repeat of the the mess of last season. Otherwise these super players and the manager will find another club that cares!

The rugby posts did come down for the pitch inspection ( you missed that) and the football posts put up, the ref called it off because of a water logged pitch, the ground staff then put the rugby posts back up because it's Ruby next match....
