Rovers v County pitch update

BRISTOL Rovers have issued a statement on their official website ahead of tomorrow's League Two clash with Newport County AFC at the Memorial Stadium.

The statement reads: "With the bad weather forecast overnight, we will be keeping a close eye on the playing surface ahead of tomorrow's League Two game against Newport.

"As it stands the pitch is currently playable, but we will continue to monitor the situation.

"Staff will be in early tomorrow morning to assess the situation and we will keep you informed of any change."
