NEWPORT COUNTY academy graduate Kyle Patten has signed a professional contract with the Exiles.
The 20-year old has been named as a substitute several times this season and is highly rated by manager Justin Edinburgh.
The midfielder has been handed the number 19 shirt in the first team squad this term and boss Edinburgh has now seen enough to offer Patten professional terms.
Patten broke the news himself on Twitter, writing: "Signed my first professional contract with Newport County today. Buzzing."
