NEWPORT County AFC under-18s will face Milton Keynes Dons at Rodney Parade in the second round of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday, November 18, at 7pm.

County are through to the second round following a 2-1 win over Exeter City at St James' Park, while the Dons won 5-2 at Cambridge United last Wednesday.

Whoever progresses from the second round tie will face a mouth-watering trip to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.

“It would really mean a lot to the boys if fans come along to cheer them on,” said development coach Mike Flynn.

“And if we can get past MK Dons we'll be away to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the next round so that is a massive incentive for the boys to progress.”

Prices for the second round tie are £5 for adults and £1 for under-16s with the Bisley Stand being open for the game.

Tickets will be available from the Newport County ticket office later this week.

The under-18s were beaten 2-0 at home by Exeter in the Football Youth Alliance at the weekend as the young Grecians got revenge for the cup defeat.

The County youngsters are also in action at Plymouth Argyle tomorrow night and at home to Cheltenham Town on Saturday morning before the MK Dons tie.
