NEWPORT County are heading to the seaside in Somerset next Tuesday after an extra game was added to their pre-season schedule.

The Exiles will take on National League South side Weston-super-Mare at the Woodspring Stadium on July 26 (kick-off 7.30pm).

County visit Undy Athletic this evening (6.45pm) before hosting League One outfit Coventry City at Spytty Park on Saturday (3pm).

So far Warren Feeney’s men have drawn with Caldicot Town, beaten Polish team KS Polkowice and lost to Czech club FC Hradec Kralove in their friendlies ahead of the new season.

Following the trip to Somerset they go to Ton Pentre (July 28, 7.15pm), Forest Green Rovers (July 30, 3pm) and Gloucester City (August 1, 7pm).

Also next Tuesday, a County development side will take on Western League Premier Division outfit Bristol Manor Farm in a pre-season friendly (7.30pm).

The match will be played at the picturesque Creek ground next to the River Avon.

Entry will be £3 and free for children, and a bar and food will be available all evening.

Meanwhile, an open fans' forum will take place at the Riverside Tavern in Newport next Wednesday (July 27) at 7pm.

Members of the club's board are set to attend to take questions from supporters.
