STRIKER Florent Bojaj has returned to Championship promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town after playing for just 15 minutes during his loan spell at Newport County AFC.

The Kosovo-born 20-year-old was signed by former manager Graham Westley in January.

“Flo was appearing in the Championship last season and came to our attention when doing so,” said Westley.

“He offers something different to our current forward options as a strong left-footed technical talent, and joins us until the end of the season to bring his excellent all-round game and creative talents to our team.

“As his coach at Huddersfield says, 'if he gets a chance he scores the goal'.”

But the Albania Under-17 international managed just one substitute appearance for the first team – replacing Craig Reid after 75 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Colchester United on January 14.

A club statement said: “Newport County AFC would like to thank Flo for his hard work since joining the club and wish him all the best back at Huddersfield and in his future career.”
