RYDER Cup winners Peter Hanson and Graeme McDowell are second and third respectively on the early leaderboard at the Celtic Manor this afternoon.
Swede Hanson is just a shot behind leader Keith Horne on six under par and defending champion McDowell is tied for third place on four under with Damien McGrane.
Of the Welshman Jamie Donaldson is leading the way on three under, Newport's Phillip Price finished on one under and Liam Bond was one over after his opening round.
