NEWPORT School of Tae Kwon-Do are celebrating another impressive haul of medals after taking part in the British Championships.

The huge event was staged at the Derby Arena with more than 1,000 martial artists from across the UK and Europe taking part.

Having undergone rigorous training by 7th Degree World Master Philip Burley in the lead up to the competition, Newport Tae Kwon-Do were ready to take on the challenge.

If you would like to join Newport School of Tae Kwon-Do, beginner lessons are held at Newport Centre on Wednesday (juniors 6-7pm, seniors 7-8pm); Saturday (juniors 11am -12pm) and Sundays (seniors 6-7pm). The first lesson is free.
