JONTY Clarke will today discover if he has been selected in Great Britain’s hockey squad for this summer’s Olympic Games.
The 31-year-old, who was born in Rochford and attended Southend High School, was part of the 18 man travelling party for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in May.
But that squad is now set to be reduced to 16 and Clarke, a former Old Southendian player, will be desperate to make the cut.
Clarke competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and has won 138 international caps.
