Golden State Warriors beat the Atlanta Hawks 106-94 but were dealt a blow when Stephen Curry injured his knee in his comeback game.

Curry, who had sat out the last six games with an ankle injury, sprained his knee in the second half but not before scoring 29 points.

Nick Young added 24 points with six three-pointers as the Warriors claimed their 12th win in 13 games – and their seventh over the Hawks.

The Boston Celtics fought back from a 12-point deficit in the third quarter to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 105-100.

But 30 points from Marcus Morris including a lead-clinching three-pointer in the fourth helped lift the Celtics to victory, and saw Portland suffer their second loss in a row after a 13-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, LeBron James scored 27 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers pushed the Phoenix Suns to their 10th loss in a row.

James also added nine assists and six rebounds, while Kevin Love scored 20 points, as the Cavs dominated with a 30-point lead in the third and an overall 120-95 victory which puts Phoenix on seven straight losses against Cleveland.
