TRAVELLERS are warned of possible congestion on the Severn Crossings this afternoon and tomorrow due to Olympic football at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

The women's football quarter final on between Brazil and Japan kicks off at 5pm tonight, while the men's quarter final tomorrow between Great Britain and South Korea starts at 7.30pm.

Major routes into Wales are likely to be very busy as spectators make their way to the stadium.

Routes that could also be busy include the M5 southbound between junction 14 and junction 15 and the M4 westbound from junction 19 in to Wales. The M49 may also experience an increase in traffic during these times.
