GWENT trio Tyler Williams, Macey Jones and Isobel Parry-Jones will represent their country at next month’s Welsh Athletics Outdoor International meeting in Cardiff.
The triumvirate are included in a Wales team taking on Welsh Schools and three English regions in an under-20 competition on Wednesday, July 12.
Williams, of Newport Harriers, goes in the 200m, while Cwmbran Harriers duo Jones and Parry-Jones have the triple jump and 800m to look forward to.
Wales will be putting out their strongest possible team for the competition, including Jake Heyward, who took 1500m gold at the English Championships and European U20 Championships trial event.
Brother and sister Hannah (100m) and Joe Brier (400m) will also be hoping to get the nod for the U20 Europeans as they both return from injury.
The team also includes three of the five Welsh athletes selected to compete at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas.
Sarah Omoregie (shot put), Lauren Evans (100m hurdles) and James Tomlinson (discus) have strong performances in their sights as they prepare to travel to the Caribbean as part of Team Wales.
Several current senior Welsh champions also feature for Wales on July 12, with Bethan Rees, Osaze Aghedo and William Edwards going in the javelin, triple jump and high jump.
