Bath v Dragons
This live event has finished
- Both clubs got off to winning starts in the Amlin Challenge Cup last weekend, the Dragons cruising past Italian minnows Mogliano and Bath notching an impressive away win at Bordeaux Begles.
- The victors at the Rec will be in charge of Pool Two and the Dragons will be keen to head back over the Severn Bridge with something to show for their efforts to keep their qualification hopes alive ahead of the January rematch at Rodney Parade.
- But the region have NEVER won on English soil in European competition.
- In fact, they have beaten rivals from across the border just once in 20 Euro meetings - Bristol in Newport in 2007.
All over. Bath 26, Dragons 10. Very, very disappointing second half.
Extras added by Heathcote. 26-10 with 72 gone.
Game over. Bath drive over in the right corner and it's ex-Scarlets man Mat Gilbert who gets it.
The Dragons are, to use a coaching phrase, playing in the wrong areas.
Bath have been pretty ordinary but have got the job done so far.
Dragons just haven't had control, the territory or the conviction.
Tovey limps off, replaced by Burton.
It's all going wrong for the Dragons. Lewis Evans binned and Heathcote makes it 19-10. 65 gone.
Lewis Evans, who has been excellent in the back row, intercepts but doesn't have the gas to beat the covering Heathcote. Into the last quarter.
Great attack by the Dragons. Amos hits a lovely line off Tovey and breaks 60m into the Bath 22. Ball is worked wide but Dee is forced into touch yards shy of the line. Good comeback.

"Andrew, chaos," says Kingsley from the stands. I expect he wants the skipper to get into 'em.
Another scrum against the head but Rees magnificently slides in to prevent the waiting Fearns and Stringer from crossing. The #9 has been terrific.
Scrum against the head puts the Dragons under pressure but they knock it on in the 22. Dragons need to get back in the Bath half and force the errors.
Coombs getting ready to come on...
Dragons would take this ... BUT it's a massive chance for a huge win. 40 mins to grasp the opportunity. Tovey gets us back under way.
And that's that. 10-10 at the break. A fair reflection of it all.
Dragons ending the half on top. Bossing possession and territory. Into injury time now and probably a minute left.
Dragons half-backs have been excellent - and it's just as well because the rain is torrential now.
Another penalty to the Dragons, who are swarming all over Bath. Richie Rees should be in the Wales squad but I'm not sure he will be. Anyway, Tovey lines up a penalty from the 10m line, slightly on the right... wide right. Still 10-10, 38 mins gone.
The pack have done well so far, Lewis Evans showing up well and also leading well. Richie Rees excellent, Toby sublime.

That'll do wonders for the Dragons' belief just as Bath were looking threatening.
TRY DRAGONS! Slow ball is worked right and Screech puts Faletau in space and he races over from 45 metres. Great response and Tovey levels. 7-7 after 12.
Dragons have been stunned by Bath's power runners early on - need to stop them getting over the gain line or it will be a long, long afternoon. The visitors have not had the ball in hand yet.
Heathcote nails the extras and it's 7-0 Bath after seven.
Try for Bath. They power at the Dragons line and then work it to the right where Biggs puts over fellow winger Richard Lane for a seventh-minute score.
Impressive start by Bath with Abendanon, Fa'osiliva and Perenise carrying strongly but the Dragons hold firm.
