A QUINTET of summer signings will don Newport Gwent Dragons jerseys for the first time in the pre-season friendly against Nottingham tomorrow evening (kick-off 7pm).

Tighthead prop Shaun Knight, number eight Ed Jackson, scrum-half Charlie Davies, centre Adam Warren and wing Nick Scott will all feature against the English Championship side at Ystrad Mynach.

A conditioning game will see the Dragons change all their starters at half-time, giving game time to most of their squad.

The South African trio of Rynard Landman, Brok Harris and Sarel Pretorius sit out the clash, as do seasoned campaigners Boris Stankovich and captain Rhys Thomas.

Back row forward Lewis Evans, hooker Elliot Dee, centre Ross Wardle and wing Aled Brew all make their returns from injuries that forced premature ends to 2014/15.

Tickets are on sale from the Rodney Parade ticket office (01633 674990) and will be available to buy from Ystrad Mynach before the match from 2pm.
