TAULUPE Faletau will start for Newport Gwent Dragons in tomorrow’s Guinness Pro12 derby at the Scarlets (kick-off 6pm).

The 24-year-old is brought straight back into the XV following his World Cup exploits after the Welsh Rugby Union denied the Dragons permission to sell the Wales number eight to Bath.

Faletau will see out the final year of his contract at Rodney Parade and his home region will attempt to get value for money out of their biggest star, starting in Llanelli.

Lewis Evans, who captained the Dragons in their 19-12 win against Treviso last Friday, is the man to miss out against the Scarlets with Ed Jackson moving to blindside.

Director of rugby Lyn Jones makes three other changes to the XV with Charlie Davies, a summer recruit from Wasps, handed a first start at scrum-half.

Dorian Jones comes in at fly-half with Jason Tovey moving to full-back while Rynard Landman returns to skipper the side from lock after being limited to bench duty against the Italians because of a chest injury.

The Scarlets hand a recall to former Cross Keys forward Lewis Rawlins at lock while number eight Jack Condy, who also made the move west from Pandy Park this summer, is among the replacements.

The hosts have won all five games so far this season with centre Regan King and flanker James Davies in sublime form.
