REUNION: Dragons lock Matthew Screech carrying hard against Exeter last August
NEWPORT Gwent Dragons will lock horns with English champions Exeter at Sandy Park in pre-season.
Kingsley Jones’ men will head to the home of the Chiefs on Saturday, August 19 for a double-header with the hosts using their whole squad when also taking on Cornish Pirates.
The fixture will be a return to Devon for Adam Hughes and Lloyd Fairbrother while the home side boast former Dragon Phil Dollman as well as Wales international Tomas Francis in their ranks.
The Dragons hosted Exeter at Rodney Parade last summer with the English side emerging as 32-16 victors after pulling away in the closing stages.
The Chiefs won the Aviva Premiership last weekend by beating Wasps in extra time at Twickenham.
