Young Mascot Leads Out Newport

Danny Meets Sam Waldron
Five year old Danny Sullivan made his mascot debut last season. he set the record as the youngest mascot at only four years old.
We were especially pleased therefore to have him back this year complete with new boots (again) to lead out the team once more.
Danny's grandparents are Newport regulars and his mum was a ball girl not so long ago so he is a true Black and Amber.
Dan who attends St.Marys RC Infant School, had a picture taken with Newport Hero Sam Waldron before leading out the team with skipper Craig Attwell before Newport went on to sink old rivals Swansea in another exciting encounter.
