Former Cross Keys captain Phil Leader passes away
FORMER Cross Keys captain and prop Phil Leader has died at the age of 61.
Leader, who was chairman of the Keys former players association, joined the club in 1983 from Crumlin.
A strong, mobile front row forward, he played against Fiji in 1985 in Keys' centenary season and went on to make 105 appearances, captaining the team in 1987/88.
