THERE could be an all-Gwent final at Principality Stadium in the WRU National Cup after Newport and Ebbw Vale were kept apart in the draw for the last four.

The Black and Ambers will lock horns with Llandovery while the Steelmen will go up against Premiership champions Merthyr in the semi-finals on neutral territory.

The venues are yet to be decided with the fixtures taking place on either Saturday, April 7 or Sunday, April 8.

Newport qualified for the last four for the first time since 2003 by beating Bedwas 43-14 at Bridge Field on Tuesday while Ebbw, beaten by Cross Keys in the semis in 2012, enjoyed a 26-3 success away to Bargoed on Wednesday.

Merthyr beat Pontypool while Llandovery sneaked past Cross Keys at Pandy Park.
