Dragons ponder Faletau return

NEWPORT Gwent Dragons are weighing up whether to bring Lions star Toby Faletau into the fray against Edinburgh on Friday night.
The Wales international sat out last Friday's tremendous RaboDirect Pro12 win against Ulster at Rodney Parade following his summer efforts in Australia.
The Dragons fielded a back row of Jevon Groves, Nic Cudd and Lewis Evans with Netani Talei, a summer recruit from this weekend's opponents, making a real impact off the bench.
The region is blessed with options at blindside and number eight with Wales Under-20s starlet Ieuan Jones also in contention.
But it is Faletau – who starred in the Lions' third Test drubbing of the Wallabies – that catches the eye whenever a Dragons team is named.
"Toby is going to be in consideration," said director of rugby Lyn Jones after the Ulster game. "He will have some involvement, if not against Edinburgh then certainly against the Scarlets (the following Friday)."
The Dragons have no fresh injury worries following the Ulster win and fly-half Steffan Jones and fly-half/centre Lewis Robling are making good progress as they come back from elbow and ankle injuries respectively, with the latter not needing an operation.
