WALES Under-20s lock Joe Davies will make his first appearance of the season for Bedwas when they welcome Llandovery to Bridge Field tonight (kick-off 7.30pm).
Steve Law’s men edged a tight encounter with Bridgend 23-16 at the Brewery Field on Sunday and could be in fourth if they beat the Drovers this evening.
“I thought we played very well in the second half last week and our never-say-die attitude brought us a victory,” said Law.
“We have had some very good games against Llandovery over the years, they are a very good side and I look forward to a hard-fought game.”
Davies, 19, starts in the second row after making a pair of appearances off the bench for the Dragons against Harlequins and the Ospreys in the LV= Cup following his recovery from shoulder surgery.
His regional teammate Matthew Pewtner comes in on the right wing with Arron Pinches and Mike Callow paired in midfield.
