NEWPORT Gwent Dragons will need at least a losing bonus point from tomorrow’s fixture with Stade Francais to earn a home quarter-final in the European Rugby Challenge Cup.
The Dragons have already qualified for the last eight courtesy of topping Pool Three but Edinburgh’s bonus-point win against Bordeaux-Begles means they still have work to do.
The Scottish side triumphed 38-20 at Murrayfield thanks to scores by Sam Hidalgo-Clyne (2), Matt Scott and WP Nel to win Pool Four with a total of 22 points.
Lyn Jones’ men currently have 21 and a bonus point would see them climb above Edinburgh in the seedings by virtue of better points difference.
