GIANTKILLERS Pontypool will make the short trip to Pandy Park next month when they take on Cross Keys in a mouth-watering all-Gwent WRU National Cup quarter-final clash.
Championship leaders Pooler are going to be out to claim the scalp of a third Principality Premiership club in this season’s competition on Saturday, March 4.
They beat Llanelli and Cardiff on the road in rounds one and two, while Keys reached the quarters with wins over Glynneath and Neath.
The draw for the last eight has also pitted Ebbw Vale against Merthyr at Eugene Cross Park, holders Llandovery go to RGC 1404 and Pontypridd travel to Carmarthen Quins.
Meanwhile, Division Two East’s Abercarn meet Division One West Central’s Ystalyfera in the WRU Plate semi-finals on Saturday, March 25.
Penallta play Nant Conwy in the other last-four tie, with both games to take place at neutral venues.
In the WRU Bowl semi-finals, Cardigan clash with Amman United and Cilfynydd go up against Caerphilly.
