WALES lock Cory Hill returns to the Newport Gwent Dragons XV for tomorrow’s Guinness PRO12 clash against Zebre in Parma (kick-off 1.30pm).

Hill, who played in the Six Nations games with Italy and England, hasn’t played since coming off the bench against Connacht in Galway in mid-February.

He packs down next to Rynard Landman while Nick Crosswell moves to the back row where he is joined by openside Ollie Griffiths and captain Lewis Evans.

Phil Price gets the nod at loosehead ahead of Sam Hobbs, who is fit to be on the bench after a wrist injury suffered in the 27-17 defeat to Ulster a fortnight ago.

Adam Hughes makes his 100th start for the Dragons on the wing while Pat Howard is preferred on the other flank to Tom Prydie, who is among the replacements.

With Sarel Pretorius (hamstring) and Tavis Knoyle (wrist) sidelined, Charlie Davies is the sole specialist scrum-half and cover will be provided by either Hughes or fly-half Dorian Jones.

The Dragons are hunting a first away win of the season and first PRO12 triumph on the road since Treviso in March, 2015.

The hosts head into the game on the back of an excellent 25-22 success against champions Connacht.

They feature seven players from Italy’s squad in their final Six Nations outing in Scotland - captain George Biagi at lock, full-back Edoardo Padovani, fly-half Carlo Canna, loosehead Andrea Lovotti, tighthead Dario Chistolini and back row forwards Federico Ruzza and Maxime Mbanda.
