SCOTLAND have dropped Chris Paterson from the side to face Grand Slam champions Wales on Sunday.
The Edinburgh player has to make do with a place on the bench to face Warren Gatland's men at Murrayfield.
As expected the Scots will be without two key players in tight-head prop Euan Murray, who is suffering from damaged ribs, and their Australian-born Perpignan lock Nathan Hines who is recovering from a knee injury.
