NEWPORT Mike Manning Audio Wasps moved up a place to seventh with yet another convincing home British Premier League win on Friday night.
In a battle between the Knockout Cup winners and the BPL champions, dashing Dane Charlie Gjedde was again the inspiration behind the Wasps' 12th successive home league and cup victory.
The number-one heat leader was unbeaten by an opponent in six races while Swedish star Robin Aspegren also recorded a double-figure score.
The teams now meet against twice on Sunday at Glasgow, where the first meeting will start at 1.30pm and the second two hours later.
