Diesel 'charged up' on action films

He has made his name starring in action films such as xXx, The Fast And The Furious and The Chronicles Of Riddick, and Vin Diesel has revealed why he would never get bored of them.

"What draws me to them, aside from the fact that they're a huge lot of fun, I don't know.

"But I know that when I used to see action movies, there was this charge that I would get and it would be like recharging my batteries," he admits.

The action star continues: "I would come out the theatre either doing whatever fight moves were in there or fantasising about whatever cool scene. So I do them, I guess, for the fan of action movies that I am."

The father-of-one is not hanging up his action hat just yet, as he stars as war mercenary Toorop in Babylon AD, which is out on August 29.

He added: "I was talking to my father and I said, 'Dad, after Babylon, should I do another action movie or go back the other direction and a drama?'

"And my dad said, 'I don't think you can never do too many action movies'. There's just something about them."
