TAVERNER Mildred Died peacefully on 4th December 2019, aged 94. Adored wife of Geoffrey for 71 years. Much-loved Mother of Stephen, Jonathan, Marcus and Jason. Devoted grandmother of her ten grandchildren and of her two great grandsons. A service of thanksgiving will be held at St. Peter's Church, Benington, Hertfordshire on Thursday 19th December at 12 noon.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs Taverner's passing. My husband, Derek and I were both employed by Taverner (Contractors) Ltd., which is where we met. Marcus and Jason were both at our Wedding service, along with your parents and Mr. and Mrs Ruddle. I wanted to contact you after Mr. Geoffrey died last year but my Sister died suddenly at the same time. Derek died in October 2017. Please accept my sincere condolences. I have very happy memories of you all. Jo Parry
