MURPHY Christopher Terence On December 31st peacefully at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Chris, of Malpas Road. Loving father of Suzanne, Christopher and Steven, father in law of Alyn and Julie and a much loved grandfather. Funeral Thursday January 23rd service at Gwent Crematorium at 1pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu made payable to the Welsh Air Ambulance may be sent c/o Tovey Bros. 9/11 Cardiff Road Newport NP20 2EH.

Sad to here Chris has passed away. He was a very dedicated and loyal member of staff at St Cadoc's in his role as driver for community services. Was appreciated very much as a safe pair of hands and as a straight talker by those who knew and respected him. Phil.

So sorry to read that Chris has passed away. His Christmas card was one of the first through the door so I knew something was wrong when it didn’t come at all. I used to work on reception at St Cadoc’s, Chris & I had many long chats putting the world to rights. We used to telephone each other about twice a year to catch up.
