O'BRIEN Desmond John Peacefully at the Royal Gwent Hospital on the 30th January 2020, Des passed away. So dearly loved husband of Joyce, loved father of Rebecca and son in law Gary and loved Grandad of Molly and Lucy. Loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Joyce's grateful thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Ward C7 West for all the care and kindness given to Des. Requiem Mass at St Marys R.C. Church, Stow Hill, Newport on 25th February 2020 at 10am, followed by interment at St Woolos Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory for Cancer Research UK may be given at service or sent c/o Tovey Bros. 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport. NP20 2EH www.toveybros.co.uk Mourning clothes optional.
