Rugby days will never be the same for me but we will be sure honour every Wales match to you.
The kids will miss your curry’s as yours are so much better than mine will ever be.
I will miss our morning calls where you would talk about Daren most of the time always encouraging a fellow business man to do well and grow.
Bailey will miss you on your early morning walks with him when you used to visit and you feeding him the bits he wouldn’t normally have.
I love you more than you will ever know Dad

I had a friend, we met aged ten from then we were quite the pair.
Two boys, two mates we’d set our fate as life’s winding path we’d share.
Brothers in arms through good times, and bad our friendship grew day by day.
We cycled, played cricket and most boys games, long summers enjoyed in full.
And as years passed by, now from boys to men our friendship still endured.
A friend for life is a beautiful gift this sometimes we can forget.
You have ups and downs and maybe frowns but always you’re glad you met.
My friend was Allan, a happy soul with a beaming face he shared.
He graced my life for 54 years with a bond that would not break.
But the wheel of life has turned once more it was time to say goodbye.
Behind you leave heartbroken friends who will certainly want to cry.
My friend has left, our team has split but he will always share my heart.
I’ll hold him dear until my dying day, although we are apart.
Goodnight mate, my friend for life, we’ll meet again someday.
And in that moment we will smile again as we used to everyday.
