ANDREWS (nee Picton) Moira Helen Carmel Sadly, on 29th June, Moira (retired Civil Servant) aged 82 years old (sorry Mum for saying your age out loud), formerly of Baldwin Street Pillgwenlly, passed away in hospital - thankfully not alone, but with her god-daughter Abigail by her side. Dearly loved wife of the late Billy, Moira was the beloved daughter of the late George and Nellie Picton (nee Manship), a very cherished sister, a fondly thought-of cousin, a well-loved aunt, a truly-valued friend, and a much-loved mother to Elizabeth Murphy. Due to current restrictions, a private Catholic service will be held at St.Woolos Cemetery on Tuesday 4th August at 3pm. The hearse will be at St. Michael's Church, Clarence Street, at 2.30pm for those who would like to pay their respects, whilst still observing social distancing. Flowers, or donations to the Alzheimer's Society, may be sent c/o Tovey Bros. 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH. The family would like to say a special thank you to Alison and everyone at Cymru Care Agency, Trethomas, for all their care and support.
