PROBERT Betty Eileen On 28th February 2020, Bette, aged ninety-eight, passed away at The Cedars at St Anne's Nursing Home, Chepstow: she was born on Christmas Day 1921. Her private burial took place at Christchurch Cemetery on 1 April and was attended by her daughter, Jeaneane, son-in-law, Merv, and nephews Gary and Mark. At Bette's request, in lieu of flowers she wished donations to be offered to The Salvation Army, may be sent c/o Tovey Bros 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport NP20 2EH www.toveybros.co.uk Jeaneane and Merv would like to thank the many kind people who have sent them their love and condolences following the passing of Bette. They would also like to thank Tovey Bros Funeral Directors, especially David O'Connell for his sensitive assistance during preparations for the burial. In her fifteen-month stay at The Cedars, Bette was cared for by an outstanding group of carers who loved her as much as she loved them. To Mariana, Gill, Salote, Bethan, Lisa, Anna, Maria and Wendy, Jeaneane and Merv would like to extend their heartfelt love and thanks for all the wonderful care they gave so warmly to Mum and for the kindness and friendship they so readily gave to them.
