NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL (CHEPSTOW ROAD, NEWPORT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ON-STREET WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that Newport City Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers intends not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an order the effect of which will be as described in the Schedule Parts 1 & 2 below. The reason for making the order is to ensure public safety by reallocating road space for social distancing purposes. The order will come into operation on 20 April 2021 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the national social distancing requirements cease, whichever is the earlier. Emergency vehicle access will be available.
SCHEDULE
Part 1 - Suspension
The Newport City Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement) Order 2019 Schedule 1 shall be suspended and shall have no effect insofar as its provisions relate to Chepstow Road, South Side (opposite Maindee Car Park) for a distance of 7 metres either side of an existing island.
Part 2 - No waiting or loading at any time-For a distance of 7 metres either side of an existing island at south side, Chepstow Road (outside No 102, and the Post Office and opposite Maindee Car Park)

Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd) a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill yn cynnig, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, wneud gorchymyn a fydd yn gwneud yr hyn a ddisgrifir yn Rhannau 1 a 2 yr Atodlen isod. Y rheswm dros wneud y gorchymyn yw sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd drwy ailddyrannu He ar y ffordd at ddibenion cadw pellter cymdeithasol. Bydd y gorchymyn yn weithredol o 20 Ebrill 2021 a bydd yr parhau mewn grym am gyfnod hyd at o 18 mis neu tan bo'r gofynion cenedlaethol o ran cadw pellter cymdeithasol wedi dod i ben, pa un bynnag fydd gyntaf. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau brys.

Bydd Atodlen 1 Gorchymyn Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd (Gwahardd a Chyfyngu ar Aros a Llwytho a Mannau Parcio ar y Stryd) (Gorfodi Sifil) 2019 yn cael ei dirymu ac ni fydd yn cael unrhyw effaith i'r graddau y mae ei darpariaethau'n ymwneud a Chepstow Road, ochr y de (gerllaw Maes Parcio Maendy) am 7 metr y naill ochr a'r Hall i ynys bresennol.
Rhan 2 - Dim aros na llwvtho ar unrhvw adeg-Am bellter o 7 metr y naill ochr a'r Hall i ynys bresennol ar ochr y de, Chepstow Road (y tu allan i Rif 102, a Swyddfa'r Post a gyferbyn & Maes Parcio Maendy)
