MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL: MAGOR WITH UNDY COMMUNITY
(WHITEWALL, MAGOR, TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) - TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 20th March 2017 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL made an Order under S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order has been made to facilitate essential telecoms upgrade works. The effect of the order will be to close a section of Whitewall, Magor. An alternative route will be available via;

Diversion: Travel in a Southerly direction along Whitewall until its junction with Pill Street. Travel in a South Westerly direction along Pill Street until its junction with Green Street. Travel in a South Westerly direction along Green Street until its junction with North Row. Travel in a North Westerly direction along North Row until its junction with the A4810 Steelworks Access Road. Travel in a North Easterly direction along the A4810 Steelworks Access Road until its junction with Llandevenny Road. Take the third exit at the roundabout to continue in a Southerly direction along the A4810 Steelworks Access Road until its junction with Barecroft Common. Travel in a generally Easterly direction along Barecroft Common until its junction with Whitewall and vice versa.

The Order will come into force on the 20th March 2017 for 4 days or until such time as the works are complete.

By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of, a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
