The organisers of Newport-based Digital Tuesday have announced the line-up for the fourth edition of the region’s pioneering forum for digital innovation.

Launched by Sir Terry Matthews at Digital 2014, the Welsh Government’s ICT event held at the Celtic Manor Resort in June, Digital Tuesday is a dynamic networking community drawn from across the digital technologies sector.

Held on the first Tuesday of every month, Digital Tuesday gathers at the Celtic Manor to debate digital directions, talk technology trends, share knowledge, stimulate ideas, and create business opportunities.

October's Digital Tuesday has an exciting line up of speakers who will share their insights, knowledge and expertise on how to gain business advantage through finding the right talent, funding growth and fuelling sales using digital technologies.

Speakers include Keith Potts, Huw Marshall and Steve Jones.

Keith Potts is one of the UK's most successful Dotcom entrepreneurs having entered the Sunday Times FastTrack on three separate occasions and with two different startups. Keith founded Jobsite in 1995, which he sold to DMGT in 2004. Co-author of ‘Why should I work for you?’, Keith went on to help build another Virgin FastTrack success, Lenstore, which was recently sold to Vision Express. His latest venture, Talenetic.com provides cloud based recruitment services, which includes the world’s largest oil and gas job search engine, OilFinity.com.

Huw Marshall is an experienced media consultant and digital strategist and is digital manager at S4C. Huw will talk about S4C’s Digital Fund and explain how to access the fund for digital innovation.

Steve Jones has more than 30 years’ experience in building and managing multi-disciplined teams across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa in the fields of social media and digital marketing, business development and sales.

The next Digital Tuesday meet up will be October 7 in the Manor Suite at the Celtic Manor Resort. Registration and drinks from 5pm with talks from 5.30pm to 6.30pm followed by networking and drinks.
