Newport-based conveyancing specialist Convey Law has signalled its commitment to delivering leading employee training programmes with the recruitment of a full-time professional trainer.

Stephanie Oliver has taken-up the role of training development officer, and her first key task will be to oversee the firm’s paralegal courses.

The company will be expanding its paralegal intake throughout 2015 and this includes a graduate recruitment day planned in early July.

Another significant duty for Stephanie Oliver will be to assist with the development of Convey Law’s planned online training courses.

The company is closely working alongside the Conveyancing Association and Council for Licensed Conveyancers to develop leading online training for the conveyancing profession.

Convey Law’s training has been recognised through the prestigious Gold Investors in People accreditation from Investors in People.

Lloyd Davies, managing director at Convey Law, said: “We believe in investing in our people, and always will. We think this is a good place to work, with great facilities where everyone is encouraged to perform to the best of their ability.

“After several years of training management experience with previous employers including Admiral and NewLaw Solicitors, Stephanie is seen as the perfect candidate to run and develop our training programmes.

“Her appointment will ensure that we continue to provide the very best training and development programmes within the conveyancing profession for its employees. Her expertise will be an essential asset for our company as we look forward to welcoming new employees after another large recruitment drive in 2015.”

With the firm’s continued investment in employee training and development as well as ambitious expansion plans, the company is determined to improve on a supremely successful 2014.

Last year the company won the coveted Sunday Times Estate Agents Awards for the Best UK Conveyancer and Best Large Conveyancer, highlighting the company’s excellence within the industry.
