The announcement of a snap General Election means it’s as important as ever for business owners and managers to have a clear idea of the way ahead, claims leading business guru Graham Morgan

A seminar, at Mamhilad Park Estate, Pontypool, will discuss the implications for business in Gwent of the general election, Brexit, the recent Philip Hammond Budget and the start of the new financial year.

The seminar, on Thursday, April 27, will consider the current state of the UK and Welsh economy currently and explore opportunities and threats for the average Welsh Business as we move through the remainder of 2017.

The seminar starts at 7.45am with refreshments with the talk starting at 8am and running to 9.15am. The event is free but attendees must pre register. There is plenty of free car parking at the venue.

Graham Morgan, managing director of Business Doctors, which has organised the seminar, said: “We will be joined by Simon Rockett, head of UK risk business Atradius who will give us his insight into the short term landscape.

"As leaders in protecting SMEs against trade risk around the globe, Atradius need to continually assess what is happening and Simon can bring thoughts to bear on the journey the UK is about to embark upon over the short medium and longer terms.”

Simon will develop views around: the general election, inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, disposable income and the employment market.

Graham said: “This is a must attend event for business owners and those members of their senior management team that are tasked with steering their individual businesses through what could be choppy waters ahead.”

To attend the free seminar you must pre register. For more details contact graham@businessdoctors.co.uk or call him on 07950 900415.
