There has been an early-year success at one Cwmbran law firm as a trainee solicitor took a huge step towards full qualification.

Paige Moseley, from Rubin Lewis O’Brien, has passed her Professional Skills Course with flying colours as she becomes closer to being fully qualified.

Managing partner Sam George said: “Paige and her young colleagues are the future of the firm and the legal sector in Wales and it is only right that we celebrate this success. Paige is a dedicated, hard working and exceptional member of the team. We were delighted when she joined us and her development since then has impressed us all.”

Paige joined the firm in 2016 after completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) as well as her LLB Law Degree from the University of South Wales where she achieved First Class Honours. Her first position at Rubin Lewis O’Brien was a Paralegal and after being promoted to Trainee Solicitor a few months later she has spent time in the litigation, residential conveyancing and wills, trusts and probate department.

As part of the Professional Skills Course, Paige developed her capabilities in client care, advocacy, finance and business competence. She was presented with her certificate by Wayne Williams of CPM21; a training provider and consultancy for solcitors.

Mr George said: “Paige has demonstrated through the Professional Skills Course that she will make a fine solicitor. We look forward to being able to celebrate with her when she becomes a fully qualified solicitor and joins me in our busy commercial property team.”

Rubin Lewis O'Brien provides legal advice to both individuals and businesses.
