Location & description

2 Wellfield Cottages occupies a wonderful rural location some 4 miles north west of the market and tourist town of Ross-on-Wye and has glorious countryside all around, enabling a stunning rural outlook across farmland and mature deciduous trees.

Despite this agricultural setting, one can still be in Ross town centre within approx. 10 minutes and onto the A40 Dual Carridgeway or M50 motorway within same, giving excellent access to many locations for those needing to travel for either work or pleasure. On the other hand one can leave the front door either on bike or by foot and have access to beautiful countryside.

The property offers appealing cottage style accommodation on three levels having been brought up to an excellent standard by the current vendors. That means one could move in and start living without having to carry out lots of upgrading first.

With three bedrooms split over two floors and one of the largest cottage bathrooms we have seen in a property of this nature, there are many different configurations that purchasers could achieve.

Outside, the property has parking for several vehicles, plus a double length garage with inspection pit for anyone with an interest in working on vehicles. The main garden is laid to lawn and benefits from the amenity of farmland just the other side of the boundary fence giving the feeling of space and openness.

In detail the property comprises:

Entrance Porch (approx. 6’5 x 5’10)

With Velux window to front elevation allowing again for glorious rural views. Sloping ceiling to front elevation would make this room ideal for potentially a home office should one wish, perhaps a hobbies room or a child’s first bedroom.

Outside

To the left of the property is an access lane owned by the property leading up to a grassed parking area together with a double length garage being approx. 33’10 x 9’10 and having an inspection pit for those wishing to work on their own vehicles. The garage benefits from a selection of windows to one end allowing one to look out over the countryside, there are not many garages/workshops we have seen with views such as these! The rear garden is laid primarily to lawn with some shrubs together with mature deciduous trees. The gardens main attribute is that of the surrounding farmland, providing far reaching views, enabling one to feel as if they were in the middle of nowhere, yet with the security of neighbours nearby.
