North Road, Ross-On-Wye HR9
Location & description
North Road lies about one mile east of the centre of Ross and comprises a cul-de-sac of properties probably constructed in the late 19th Century after the arrival of the railway to Ross in 1855. Prior to that period, most domestic housing had clay or pantiled roofs, the railways allowing the mass introduction of slate from North Wales, all of the houses in North Road having Welsh slate roofs.
There are two reception rooms to the ground floor, with a kitchen to the rear, whilst the first floor comprises two double bedrooms and bath/shower room and W.C. Central heating is from a gas fired radiator system. Immediately to the rear of the property is a paved sun terrace, behind which a bed of chipped slate gives way to the lawn, extending for the majority of the way to the rear boundary, where there is a handsome young Oak tree. There is pedestrian access from the end of the garden onto an adjoining footpath.
The current occupants of the property have been excellent long term tenants, and we are now offering the property for sale on behalf of the owner. Should a purchaser wish to purchase as an investment, the current occupiers would be keen to stay at the property. Should the buyer wish to purchase for their own occupation, the provisional date for vacant possession would be approximately Spring 2021. In detail the property comprises:

A concrete path from the rear door leads out to the Paved Sun Terrace, off which two doors lead to a Laundry/Storage Room with plumbing for washing machine, power, low level W.C. And gas fired, wall mounted central heating boiler. Beyond the sun terrace is an attractive area of chipped slate, whilst beyond same is the lawn, with a shaped, part gravelled flower bed to one side, whilst to the opposite side is an attractive Weeping Willow and winter flowering Viburnum.
