A cracking auction saw some astonishing results at the recent Paul Fosh Auctions sale which realised a total of £2,826,000 with 63 lots offered and a total of 67 per cent of that number sold on the night.

Paul Fosh, owner of the Newport-based autions business, said: “There was real electricity in the air on a cracking night with some astonishing results. One of the best was a three-bedroom, mid-terraced house at Ynysbwl, Pontpridd which was listed with a guide price of £17,000 plus but after keen interest was sold for £46,000. Another property which created a lot of interest was a property converted into flats at Fidlas Road, Cardiff, listed with a guide price of £550,000 which sold for £604,000.

“There were some other really very strong results on the night across the board.”

The next Paul Fosh Auctions sale in South Wales is on Thursday, May 3, at The Park Inn Hotel, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, starting at 5pm.
