Since the early 90s Phillip Hathway has been involved in the local property market, and has experience covering most areas of Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Cardiff. 
    Hathways Estate Agents’ Cwmbran office is in the commercial hub of Pontnewydd. It also has an office in Caerleon.
    Company director Suzanne Hathway said: “We are independent and not part of a franchise, so our fees and charges are not governed or influenced by expensive overheads and/or franchise fees.

Meet the Team

Phillippa Methuen, senior property advisor, has many years of experience in the property industry, in particular in lettings for the last 11 years.

Des Swords, financial controller, has worked at Hathways since early 2016. Prior to Hathways, Des orked in accounts at a brewery, timber merchants and managed a few hotels over the years. His accounts knowledge along with his diverse business knowledge ensures Hathways is run as efficiently as possible.
 
Emily Daly, property advisor, joined the team in 2015 as a property advisor within the busy sales department. Emily is looking to progress further into the estate agency sector as she feels extremely passionate about the industry and has substantially built on her knowledge on all areas of the property industry since being here at Hathways.

Lydia Meaney, property advisor, works predominantly within the sales department. Lydia arranges and follows up many of the sales viewings, valuations and listings. Lydia is looking to build a long term career within the company.

Vicky Butcher, property advisor/sales progressor, really enjoys working at Hathways and joined in July 2016.  Previously she worked as a conveyancer with a local firm of solicitors, and has more than 10 years’ experience in dealing with property transactions.  

Karl Pendry, senior property advisor, has been working in estate agency since 2007 and has experience in dealing with both residential sales and lettings retrospectively. He is a qualified domestic energy assessor which enables him to carry out Energy Performance Certificates. 

Suzanne Hathway, company director, manages the busy rental department. Suzanne ensures all of the landlords receive the best possible service and, being an experienced landlord, fully appreciates what is expected of a letting and estate agent. 

Phillip Hathway, managing director, has worked for and run corporate estate agencies for large national companies and also worked for an independent agent. He is an experienced landlord and a qualified mortgage broker and is confident that his company can offer an unrivalled level of service when it comes to dealing with property whether you are buying, selling, letting or looking to rent a property.

Faye-Alex Mansour, property advisor/inspector, has been working in the lettings industry since 2009 in both corporate and family-run environments. Faye has dealt with all aspects of the process from valuing, listing, finding the right tenants, property management and ensuring the vacating process runs smoothly ready for the next tenant.

Kyle Drew. independent mortgage broker, has many years’ experience in advising clients on mortgages and associated insurance needs. He has won many awards for his sales and mortgage performance while working within the corporate environment but feels Hathways provides him with the freedom to conduct business the way it should be that is with the client’s needs as the priority not simply targets that are set by a remote head office. 

Becki Jones, property advisor, has been working in property management since 2015 and joined the Hathways rental team in April 2017 as a property advisor. Becki is mainly office based with her day to day tasks including, booking viewings, dealing with maintenance issues and arranging landlord gas safety checks. 

Gareth Elliott, property inspector/advisor, joined Hathways after a career as a local authority housing officer. Gareth uses this invaluable experience to carry out rental property inspections.
