GAVIN and Stacey fans can get involved with a fun TV quiz tonight – with a surprise special guest announced today.
Alison Steadman OBE is an actress known for many roles, including her regular role on Gavin and Stacey; she played Gavin’s mother: Pam Shipman.
Tonight, she is hosting a Gavin and Stacey quiz to raise money for the UK’s leading end of life charity, Marie Curie, and will be joined by special guest: Rob Brydon, who plays Bryn West in Gavin and Stacey.
Announcing the news, Ms Steadman said: “Rob Brydon will join us and I’m looking forward to it – it’s going to be great fun.
“Marie Curie desperately needs money; they run nine hospices which cost them 2.5 million pounds a week to run. We’re hoping to raise a lot of money for them.
“During this horrible Covid thing we need a few laughs, so please everyone join in tonight and have a bit of fun.”

In May, during lockdown, Alison Steadman hosted a similar quiz which 22,000 people joined.
The Marie Curie Celebrity (Gavin and Stacey) Quiz, hosted by Alison Steadman and including special guest Rob Brydon, is at 8pm tonight.
For sci-fi fans, Georgia and David Tennant are hosting a Doctor Who quiz, raising money for Marie Curie, on Tuesday December 15.
