Jo Wood has admitted she couldn't hold back her tears at her son Jesse's wedding to Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton.
The pair married recently having kept the wedding a secret from the public until the day, and Jo told the Sunday Mirror she had felt emotional at the ceremony.
She said: "The wedding was a bit hush hush but we knew ages before. Fearne looked radiant. I was in the register office and I was there trying to look after their son Rex, who only wanted to be in his dad's arms.
"I was all fine until Fearne's voice went all wobbly and then I started to choke up and then Jesse got all wobbly and I started to cry out of happiness.
"Fearne is great. She and Jesse make such a lovely couple."
Jo added that she might start looking for romance herself: "I should start going out more. I love being at home too much. I have looked into online dating, but how I can do that?
"They say to submit a picture but any prospective suitors would either say 'I wouldn't go there with a barge pole' or I would get hundreds of weirdos and I couldn't do it. The more I am on my own, the more I like being on my own."
Jo, who is divorced from Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, also talked about her admiration for friend Sir Mick Jagger's physique.
She said: "I can see what the appeal is. He is getting old but on stage I thought, 'fantastic Mick, you are 70 and you are still running up and down'.
"His body is fit as fit can be but that only comes with a lot of work. He trains two to three hours a day. And have you ever tried to run and sing? It is only hard work that makes that possible. He keeps in shape, eats the right food and looks after himself."
