Jess Glynne will be lending some star quality to The Voice on Saturday night as a guest during the show’s semi-final.
The singer has reached number one on the iTunes Top Songs chart with her track Hold My Hand and announced that she would appear on the live episode of the BBC One singing contest.
She shared the news during an interview with BBC Radio 1 and The Voice confirmed she had been booked for the show which includes judges Sir Tom Jones, Ricky Wilson, Rita Ora and Will.i.am.
There are eight contestants left in The Voice, who will be battling it out for a place in the final – Emmanuel Nwamadi and Stevie McCrorie for Team Ricky, Joe Woolford and Karis Thomas for Team Rita, Vikesh Champaneri, Lucy O’Byrne and Sheena McHugh for Team Will, and Sasha Simone for Team Tom.
Jess has previously had hits collaborating with Clean Bandit on Rather Be and Real Love.
The Voice semi-final airs on BBC One on Saturday at 7pm.
