The stars of Zoolander No. 2 were “really, really, really ridiculously good looking” as they hit the red carpet – or rather, blue carpet – on Thursday evening in London’s Leicester Square.
The film sees male models Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) attempt to reclaim their place in the world of high fashion, 15 years on from the original film.
Unfortunately, they find themselves irrelevant, branded “old” and “lame”.
Will Ferrell, who has returned to the role of Derek and Hansel’s fashion world nemesis Mugatu, said it was hard to keep a straight face on set.
But luckily for Kristen Wiig, the make-up and prosthetics she donned to play fashion mogul Alexanya Atoz stopped her cracking up during filming – as she couldn’t move her face.
Zoolander No. 2 is released in UK cinemas on February 12.
