A THEATRICAL production based on World War I is coming to Wales for one night only.
The Trench is by Olivier Award nominated company, Les Enfants Terribles, and blends music, puppetry and physical performance.
The theatrical piece is inspired by the true story of a miner who got trapped underground, following a tunnel collapse during World War I (WWI).
It will be shown at The Blake Theatre, in Monmouth, from 7pm on October 1.
This is the beginning of a series of events, hosted at The Blake Theatre, to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War I.
This includes a ‘Festival of Remembrance’ on November 2, and ‘Meet Tommy Atkins’ on November 7.
The theatre also features a display of WWI information in the foyer, with the Box Office selling Royal British Legion poppies.
Tickets for The Trench, and other WWI shows, are available from The Blake Theatre Box Office on: 01600 719401 or online at: www.theblaketheatre.org
