THERE are limited tickets left for an improvised comedy coming to Newport for one night only.

Austentatious is an improvised Jane Austen novel, currently on a UK tour, which will be performed at Riverfront Theatre, from 8pm, on Friday.

Starring the country's quickest comic performers, each show will be a unique 'lost' Jane Austen novel, based on a title suggested by the audience.

Previous 'lost' works include: Sixth Sense & Sensibility, Double 0 Darcy, and Mansfield Shark, with each presenting a riveting story with rounded characters, delicate plotting, and real drama.

Austentatious said: "We are thrilled to be travelling the length and breadth of the country, rediscovering the lost classics Austen wrote and promptly forgot about.

"We love and admire Jane’s works and the public deserve an intimate acquaintance with them, particularly the very prescient ones about Donald Trump."

The cast is comprised of acclaimed comedy talent: Cariad Lloyd, Rachel Parris, Joseph Morpurgo, Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Andrew Hunter Murray, Graham Dickson, Charlotte Gittins, and Daniel Nils Roberts.

Each unique show will star a varying line-up of fix or six cast members.

Tickets for the Newport performance are £17.50 for adults, or £16 on concessions, but are nearly sold out.

Austentatious will then tour through England, concluding in Birmingham on November 2.
